The ’volume label’ is the name assigned to the Flash Drive when the disk is first formatted or created. The custom labeled device will then appear whenever the USB is plugged in to any computer to add that extra personal touch.
We can rename and customize this name upon request to a maximum of eleven characters. In other words, rather than seeing "No name" when the USB is plugged in, you will see your custom named label.
