What is Data Loading?
Get the most out of your custom USB drives by having us pre-load
data on the USB’s. By data loading you can use the USB keys as a way
to distribute information such as presentations, PDF’s, photos, videos,
catalogs and any other type of file. Data loading content reduces printed
materials which is good for the environment and your bottom line! Any file loaded to a USB can be erasable or locked.
What kind of files can we put on a USB?
Any files that a computer can read can be loaded onto the USB drives.
You can have a link to your website; a 30-second video spot for your
company; a PowerPoint presentation; a PDF of your full catalog; or even
a special computer program. The possibilities are endless!
Is it compatible with Mac and Windows computers?
Yes, basic data loading is a usable option for both Mac and Windows computers as long as the files you put on the drive work on both operating systems.
How much data can you upload on a USB key?
Yes. We can put all your files onto a USB Flash Drive using what we call our Data Loading Service. The amount of data loaded depends on the capacity of the USB drive and normally it is recommended to leave a certain amount of free space to allow the drive to perform within its usual speed.
Simply supply your USB Canada representative with your information and we will make sure that your information gets loaded on your flash drives. This Data Loading service is FREE up to 100MB and included in all our service packages upon your request. Additional charges may apply if your overall data size exceeds our Free data threshold.
How do I send my data files to you?
The easiest way to submit your artwork is with our File Upload to our FTP site (files under 10MB), but we can also accept artwork using dropbox, www.wetransfer.com, CD or via email (if under 2MB).
*Be sure to advise your account manager once you have loaded your files so we can confirm with you that we received them.
